Thanks for the great reminders. As you’ve encouraged me think about how truthful I am to my team and other musical volunteers, I haven’t been consistant across the board. Those that I’m willing to put effort into, I’m more truthful with, and willing to put the time an energy into being truthful and working through problem areas. But those that I don’t need as much (as far as their position is concerned) usually don’t get an invitation back which sends all kinds of mixed messages I’m sure. I can think of 3 or 4 people right now that I need to have some “truthful” conversations with. It’s definately harder to be truthful, but necessary.
